So, No Man's Sky eh? It's pretty much Out There (Mi-Clos Studio), isn't it? I mean, it just is, isn't it?

If you were a sprite, what sprite would you be?

The sporting shenanigans taking place in Rio make me think back to happier days when waggling one's joystick was more warmly looked upon in company.
I favoured the Activision Decathlon by David Crane on C64 for my exercise back in the 80's, with the benefit of an Atari VCS joystick. This was modified by removing the rubber shroud to make the stick motion easier. This was certainly easier than bashing Track & Field's arcade buttons!
What was your favourite exercise-a-thon game?

My friend Sammy says your page is rubbish and gets annoyed when I tag her in the Facebook posts. Please make a funny drawing that I will laugh at and she will get annoyed by. I like it when the snakes say their world famous catchphrase "Cussing is bad" haha. Her favourite movie is Bee Movie starring Jerry Seinfeld. Thanks, friend.

HA HA HA HA HA! No, but seriously... why is it that video game characters still don't look like they're running properly?
Everything else in modern games is oh so glorious, shiny, and mild, but as soon as a third-person dude starts running, I (massive pronounced 'I' that I can't show in writing coz all 'I's are in capitals so it looks like a normal 'I') have to start running myself to get away from them, if you see what I'm saying!!!!!!
I'm saying that characters do stupid running, in particular on Battlefront, which otherwise is the best thing EVER.
On the instructions it shouldn't say 'L3 = run', it should say 'L3 = wibbly wobbly forwards quicker than normal'. It truly is a 'running joke'.

Another one for Friday, more a general Teletext question: what were your thoughts on Park Avenue? Paramount Text ended up with the old Oracle machines. The Ed said that Park Ave was still stored in them, so repeated it. Would the Teletext machines still be around and if so would old Digi pages still be stored?
Also have you stopped doing videos? I was enjoying those.

Talking of... I've not officially stopped doing videos. I've just been eye-wateringly busy this year, and had to prioritise. They were never as popular as the written stuff, though I did enjoy doing them. But... I've been putting together some special video stuff for Block Party, which has given me a bit of a taste for it again, and I think I've finally found what the video Digi should be. I think. So... once Block Party is out of the way, you may well get some more.
There are still a handful of tickets left, incidentally - but we're almost sold out now. Get them here! We're going to be offering evening ticket holders (free) upgrades to all-day tickets.
