I mean, we could do without it - our ticket sales are a little disappointing compared to previous years, presumably due to the current cost of living - and this seems unlikely to give us the hoped-for bump in last-minute sales.
We're trying to stay positive about it; the same thing happened for Cheapshow Live last year, and most people managed to get there. Plus, Friday is unaffected, and the trains will be back to normal on Sunday, for people staying over on Saturday night.
There are options though! Not every train line will be affected, buses or coaches (very affordable compared to trains) will still be running, but obviously I'd advise you to a) Check with your train company whether they're running, and b) If you're thinking of getting a coach, to get on the latter asap as they're likely to get booked up.
Once again, the Digi Live Weekend FB group has lots of people sharing travel and accommodation help and advice (including lift shares), so go check it out.
The other option is to come to Friday, or to both nights - as a lot of people are - and go home Sunday (room prices seem to have dropped a fair bit from when we first put tickets on sale).
It hopefully goes without saying that with this being our 30th anniversary we're putting together a show you'll never forget, and we want as many of you as possible to be part of it. At the same time, we completely understand that times are tight, and two nights is a big ask - especially when we're asking you to come to us.
Fingers crossed you'll still find ways to get there. We know the area, so if there's anything you want to ask, or anything we can do to help, please fire away.
