As far as we can tell, the event - hosted by Digitiser reader Rufus Hound - went off without a hitch. Nobody done a fight, or made themselves cry, or fell over, or offended some idiots.
Destiny won Best Game - despite losing out in all the other categories it was nominated in - and Monument Valley quite rightly shuffled off with the creepy golden face for Best British Game.
It can now be revealed that Digitiser 2000's own Mr Biffo was - inexplicably - a judge for this year's gaming BAFTAs, a fact he's had to keep quiet since last year (it has been a bit like trying to keep a live eel hidden in a pencil case, during a maths lesson). You can read his shambolic ramblings on that matter later today.
