Focusing primarily on The Original Trilogy, the game's first DLC will, however, tie into the forthcoming The Force Awakens. Jakku - the desert planet glimpsed lewdly in the two teaser trailers - will be the focus of a special mission set in the aftermath of Return of the Jedi, the aptly-named Battle of Jakku.
Though players will be able to take to the skies in a variety of iconic ships, there's been a whine of disappointment at the news that there won't be any space battles: all of the action will occur on or above the surface of the planets (Endor, Hoth, Tatooine and Sullust are all confirmed). However, players will get the chance to play as the Rebellion or the Empire, with the development team hinting at playable appearances from the likes of D.Vader and B.Fett.

"Death Star? I dunno where these conspiracy theorists get their ideas. Talk about propaganda! I mean, who builds a giant space station and then calls it a Death Star? That'd be like the Emperor going around calling himself something like Emperor Malevolent, or Doctor Insidious, or something.
"Just for the record, Chewbacca's family would do anything for our brave boys and girls in the Imperial Forces. Last week I raised 43 Galactic Credits by staging a cake sale. Admittedly, several of the cakes were returned because they contained a large amount of Wookiee hair, but what am I supposed to do? It's moulting season."
