Again now with another edition of Digitiser, from some 19 years ago - an era when the index page was at its most unmemorable. - an era when the index page was at its most unmemorable.

Thanks to @ZXGuesser for the recovery. If it wasn't for these brave heroes and their digital archeology, so much of Digi's history would be lost. Instead, we can all revel once more in Digi's review of Pokemon Yellow, The Man having an existential crisis, and some dull Neo Geo Pocket news.

I wonder if there's some mirror of that demo kicking about, I'm oddly intrigued.

I probably ought to have just googled it before I wrote that comment, to be honest.

OK, so it's an early version of Mathengine's Karma physics engine, that was later built into version 2 of the Unreal engine, before Mathengine's purchase by Criterion, and it all disappearing into the middleware rabbit hole at EA.

Windows 10 64-bit doesn't seem keen to install or run it.

Never mind that website, I can't get either of those phone numbers for the cheats to work. Can anyone sort me out with some cheats for Euro 2000? Can pay 60p a minute (but maximum £3).

Ohh, I had totally forgotten about this... but I remember downloading it after reading about it on Digi and being a little underwhelmed by it.

Ah Pokémon Yellow, it’s both better and worse than Red/Blue. Nicer graphics, more character, a Pikachu by your side...but also it was the series first steps towards the streamlined format that we have today where Sun/Mon felt like they were playing themselves, it’s more story than RPG now and all too easy.

Ive been working my way through the 1995 archive and am just at Jan 1996.

Its weird jumping forward 4 1/2 years.

Its jumped from Amiga and Saturn owners still clinging to vain hope that there systems will prevail to both systems dead, Amiga done for and Sega's next gen machine creaking along.

It was the plucky optimism of the saturn owners thinking perfect 3d arcade ports would save the machine that made me chuckle the most.

My fave from the top: "We are entering the market as a latecomer so the console will have to outperform Sony's Playstation 2"

Oh will it? That's that then
