BUY SOME NEW CLOTHES - AND HELP DIGITISER2000

They're here - the brand new Digitiser t-shirts are now on sale!

Our two new designs feature the full text of the famous Roaming Thomas ad, and none other than the reanimated legend that is Zombie Dave (which features print on both the front and the back).

We also have new stock of our Digitiser logo and Mr T-shirts, if you missed them the first time around. More excitingly still - all orders will receive a free 'Dog-A-Rhythm' sticker, while stocks last! Go now to the official Digitiser shop! Or - better still - go there once you've read the rest of this important message.

As always, every sale on this site helps to support Digitiser, and - contrary to rumours - we're not trillionaires. If you've already got enough clothes, you can always become one of our beloved Patreon donors.

And if you don't want to do that - please spread the word of Digi2000 wherever you can; share, like, and gossip. Frankly, after a brilliant December, our views have dropped off sharply in January, and there's only so much we can do ourselves.

Your help is what keeps this site alive.

In other news, we're making tentative plans to arrange a Digitiser event in spring or summer, somewhere in London.

Our monthly donors will be given free guest list passes to attend - but what of the rest of you? Would this be something you'd be interested in? If so: please let your voices be heard in the comments, and tell us the sort of thing you'd want to see at such an event, so that we can "firm up" our "plans".

In the meantime, if you don't think we're worth supporting, read on for everything that has been on the site the past couple of weeks, and see if that can't convince you that we're not worth at least the price of a print games magazine or ten.

I am reading a blog on this website for the first time, and I would like to tell you that the quality of the content is up to the mark. It is very well written, also helpful information. I will undoubtedly make use of your research resources. I would thank you for the information provided in such an apt way. It answered all my queries. I will indeed read all the blogs from now on.

I would be interested in a London meet if it was on the weekend.

Digicon? Yes. I suggest public daytime event at some computery or gamey venue, followed by optional visit to gin palace.

Digi fest sounds like a great idea. Can you hire one of those opium (arcade) dens for the day? Would it be too small? ! ?
Regrettably, whilst that London is probably the best place, it'll likely be too far for me to travel :(

Count me in for a London Digi meet up. A gamey venue or even just a pub ok for me. Basically whatevs and I'll be there!

Yes! Pub, arcade or even a hollow tree stump. Given enough notice and the money going to something nice I will be there with a bell on

Four Quarters in Peckham, maybe?

Cheers for all the feedback, gents. Four Quarters and the Loading Bar have both been considered. It'll definitely be in London, definitely on the weekend, and we'll do our best to give you plenty of notice. Also considering some other ideas - a screening of Biffovision, maybe, some sort of on-stage antics, hopefully get some other Digi fellows along.

I really wish Biffovision was available legitimately to keep. Even if the Beeb had just stuck it up on iTunes or something. That show is the best kind of deranged.

Ten points to Gryffindor!

I am wearing my Digi2K T-shirt as we speak - in fact, it has been dubbed my "lucky T-shirt", and as such I no longer need any other items of clothing. I'll be picking up a Zombie Dave one at payday, and (and I suppose this is the point of writing the comment) I would not only come along to a Digitiser-Something in London, I would pay (some) real cash-monies for the privilege. And buy you a pint, if you'd let me, for which I would also pay real cash-monies.

I'm certainly up for a Digi meet up in London - was gutted I couldn't get to Manchester.

I am concerned that if I attended this event I would be subject to an attempted murder by a "sex dwarf". Can you guarantee that this will not happen?

Aaaah man you're all making me jealous! Oi luuurv in deepest darkest Devon and these fabled "manchesters" and "londons" are more than 3 days by yokel-pulled express cart. I can't come. But I wish I could.

How about holding "The Great British Biff Off" in your garden? We bring the beer and meat, you provide the BBQ, toilet facilities and sound system playing the sounds of Bullseye on loop?

Maybe we can meet your neighbour and play a little game where the first person to look at his bulge has the honour of wearing the chef's hat and novelty apron?

I'd love to attend Biffothon 2016, but I don't think my missus would be keen on me leaving her and the baby alone for a weekend whilst I fucked off to London to arse about with some people off the Internet, in order to celebrate the work of a bloke who used to write about video games on teletext 20 years ago and who recently started up again. Especially since said fucking off to London would involve a 12 hour flight from LA. It's a hard sell...
