£250,000 DYING LIGHT SPECIAL EDITION with comments from Zombie Dave

You would be forgiven for forgetting that the physical version of Dying Light is being released this Friday, after the download version of the disappointing zombie/parkour run-and-kick 'em up was made available weeks ago.

However, developer Techland has hit upon an absurd publicity stunt to remind you of the imminent release: announcing a £250,000 special edition of the game, which comes bundled with an actual zombie-proof bunker.

The one-of-a-kind Dying Light: My Apocalypse Edition - which, lets face it, is not going to be bought by anyone, unless they're so rich they've become mentally ill - comes with four steelbook copies of the game, two sets of headphones, a life-size zombie model, a set of night vision goggles, invites to a party with the Techland team, parkour lessons, your own face in the game, and a full-size "zombie-proof" shack, that - presumably - you'll be able to put in the garden of your billionaire's mansion, subject to planning permission.

Here's the breathless PR guff from Techland: "When your life is on the line in an apocalypse, it's best to come prepared. The Dying Light My Apocalypse Collector's Edition lets you do just that. The centerpiece of this one-of-a-kind edition is a fortified zombie apocalypse-proofed house that will be built to order by UK-based Tiger Log Cabins.

"The house comes fully equipped with all live-in amenities and also includes an upper deck with vantage points and an escape hatch, arsenal storage for weaponry, and of course a living area with TV, Xbox One, and the latest sound system to play Dying Light on."

If you've got more money than sanity, you can order the one-and-only copy of the My Apocalypse Edition from GAME. It is with a degree of regret that we must admit to ourselves that, if we had the money, we'd totally buy this.

They don't make cabins, any resident of the fjords would laugh at them, a look on the website shows they make weak little sheds, a zombie or more likely a passing drunken hobo falling over into the side of your zombie shack will take the wall down. Best to forego such things and go straight to b&q for the DIY little princess tree house kit, then you can just paint it green and write "zombies keep out" on it.
