Loving having new Digitiser pages to read through in the morning while eating my brekkie! While I enjoy the articles on Digitiser2000, there's a real joy at seeing Mr T, Fat Sow et al. make a return appearance. Happy 25th Digi!
Nostalgia-oh! If only all of Digi was archived somewhere. Then I would drown in my own memory vomit
I'm undecided if Stormzy is a real person or a Digitiser character. This officially makes me old.
I’m sure he’s a real person. Isn’t he Jeremy Corbyn’s PR manager or something?
I feel that this is as good a time as any to share this. I happened upon it in an ancient drive backup a while ago.
I did this picture with Deluxe Paint sometime in 1993, as an entry for a Digi competition. It depicts The Man exacting revenge on The Man Who Taunts Fear. I don't think I sent it in though. Note the Teletext-accurate colour palette.
This makes me very happy!
I'm sure my past self would have been delighted with this feedback if I hadn't waited almost 25 years to send it in
I get the feeling that SESB was more fun to watch than to play? TIE Fighter was the best Star Wars game, anyway.
Fun fact: genuinely considered getting the Secret Order of the Emperor symbol on my forearm in UV ink. I hear UV ink can be a bit dodgy though so gave it a miss.
Just 6 comments? After all Paul's efforts - shameful.
it's no secret that I'm seriously ill (no hyperbole here), but I'm still making the effort to say a big thank you for all your work Mr. B
Aw, man. Thank you. Means a lot. I hope things improve for you soon, RR.
Thanks Mr. B, sincerely.
Digi, and your other projects, have kept me company through some very dark days (and there are unfortunately worse to come).
I wish your efforts garnered more of the success and recognition they deserve; I am very grateful for the entertainment you bring forth.
Suffice to say, I'm hoping for the best for you. I'm happy to have been able to provide a little light in the darkness.
Biffo is compelled to overwork for the unappreciative.
It's a curse.
I just giggled at Mr T, which is GOOD because if i HAD NOT then i would HAVE BEEN upset.
I would have written comments earlier, but unfortunately Sky have make a complete Huss of my dad's email account yet again. This makes me "Bad Hucknall".
Hairs does like his bicycles, doesn't he? Was that a direct result of trying to get away from the Texetele offices?
This is good. I approve. Thank you.
It is truly glorious to be reliving the glory year era of the Teletext iteration of Digitiser once again. And as was always the case, the letters page is a particularly glorious hole within it. But amongst the other regular regulars, what we need is David (was it David?) O'Connor writing in so that Biffo can call him "Des".
David - can you help?
I laughed like a good 'un. Also, I like how the comments field is mandatory in the comments section.
I don't know what kind of answer I was expecting for my letter... But the one I got was certainly great. Seeing my weird Slavic name in an actual Digitser issue is almost as time-travel-y as Man Diary entry suggests in the end.
And answer to Glyn's letter, as well as lengthy "Where are they now" made my eyes a bit watery.
