Well, this is it. The final instalment in our week of classic-style Digitiser, to mark its 25th anniversary. Today marks the return of Digi's ever-controversial columnist Stuart Campbell, plus much more.

The celebrations don't stop here, however. We're planning a big party for later in the year - with special guests, panels, and events. Details will follow soon. Plus! There may be further surprises over the next 12 months...

For now... read this thing. Absorb it. Clutch it close to your "bosom".

If you've enjoyed this week of classic-style Digitiser, you can support Mr Biffo's prolific gushings by backing him on Patreon or PayPal - or by buying a thing from the official Mr Biffo Spreadshirt store!

Failing that, you could watch his remarkable YouTube series, Mr Biffo's Found Footage and subscribe to his channel, and follow him on twitter @mrbiffo and @memoryassistant.

Goodbye? GOODBYE.

Jolly good show old chap. I look forward to more pages like this for the 50th anniversary...or hopefully before then!
Also, does it seem odd to you that it's been more years since teletext digi than there was with it?

This seemed odd to me too, because it doesn't seem like that long ago that they killed Teletext, but then I suppose Gamecentral was sort of filling the void when Digitiser died.

Makes me feel old :(.

I have enjoyed this week like it was 1995. Great work, Biffo.

When I first glanced at Turner the worm I thought someone had gotten at the purple swan paint.

I didn't really know about Digitiser back then - I thought Teletext was only really something for my dad to look for bargain holidays on.

It must have been bizarre for people to have unassumingly stumbled upon it expecting the "usual". You and Mr Hairs created something extraordinary - 2 piss-takers having a laugh and taking nothing seriously..... with no quarter given.... and getting paid for it! It's the kind of stuff dreams are made of!

If you go ahead with the proposed series then may the wind be at your back(side), Sir.

I think Mega-Katt is brilliant.

Seriously though, It's been a genuine pleasure to read. It's brought on all kinds of nostalgic, warm feels. Thanks, Biffo!

Thank you! I've enjoyed every day of this classic Digi revival which bought back fond memories of reading a new "issue" after coming home from school each day. It really is strange of the things that didn't exist then that have now been and gone! But unlike those things, it's great to see Digitiser make a return in it's original format.

Digi has been more brilliant than usual this week (I sicken meself with my sycophancy sometimes)
Took me back to the 90's it did.

I set up the neglected Xbox One for Christmas. It turned out modern gaming wasn't worth the bother of updates and advertising.

The best part was setting up the Snes Mini instead.

Just wanted to add to the throngs of hurrahs being thronged around.

Like others, I found the new-old format really fresh for my weary internet addicted eyes. I like that everything is short and to the point and the content is densely packed so I am not tempted to skim read. In an age where gaming websites manage to write volumes of text but actually say very little, it made me weep a little tear.

Vielen Dank, Herr Biffo

I’ve absolutely loved this retro Digi week. It’s been the best week of the whole year so far.
Thank you Mr Biffo.
This is just what was needed in these post-Christmas times.

I have enjoyed this week's digi this much: a great deal.

Is there stuff missing since Christmas, or does Mr Biffo just cuss us all bad?

Sheer brilliance Mr. Biffo.
Recalled vivid memories of much better days, taking lunch breaks with my best friend (and work colleague) at his flat, eating Pot Noodles, and laughing bemusedly at each day's new Digitiser insanity.
Thank you.

It’s been really, really enjoyable catching up with a digi update for 5 mins each day this week - thanks biffer.
I want to compliment it to show my appreciation but simultaneously don’t want to just enable any compulsions to re-seek our external validation.
So.....well done....?

I've said it before but Mr B got me back into gaming when I thought I'd had enough.

Just when I thought I was out - they pull me back in.
I cuss you bad, Mr B. I cuss you bad.

Loved it Biffo, absolutely loved it to bits.
Took me right back to my ecstacy addled, shag about, work avoiding young self.
I'm happier now with lovely kids, marriage and a nice job but it's nice to remember what larks we had back then. Digitiser really was an essential daily pick me up for like minded oddballs.
Let's do it all again in say.... 5 years?

It gets weirder, I would have vivid dreams after viewing Found Footage, and now I had a vivid dream about reading Teletext, which I did every day for years but never dreamt about back then. I think Mr B is secretly David Bowie from Labyrinth or something.

I had a dream about Teletext once, though it wasn't anything as interesting as Digi characters coming to life. I think I was probably just checking the weather pages or something.
